MORE ABOUT THE SESSIONS

Poem and Prompt
These sessions offer the opportunity to engage, through discussion and writing, with specific poems and poetic forms, and to share our writing.

Writing Retreat
The writing retreat sessions offer a supportive and conducive time for individuals to follow the threads of their own writing and writing practices. There will be the option to join with others to write or to write alone in your own space.

Writing in the Park
We will spend time walking and writing in Central Park. Using the natural environment, poetry and visual images we will explore the healing benefits of nature.

Discussion Group
These sessions will provide time to share thoughts and ideas on various topics related to Poetry Therapy, and our own professional and creative practices.

The Poetry Challenge
In today's world of constant online interaction, the Poetry Challenge is a proposal to reach a wider, more diverse audience, with the aim of igniting and keeping alive the joy of poetry.
