bridgeXings Poetry Center was founded by Lila Weisberger. For over twenty years, Lila has held Actionweek, an annual poetry intensive, at the center. Over the years, Actionweek has been attended by a wide variety of people, from the US, Wales, Ireland, the UK, Mexico, Japan and New Zealand. It has been a focus of inspiration and support for all who have attended, many of whom were training to become Poetry Therapy Practitioners with the International Academy for Poetry Therapy (iaPOETRY).
